What do you wear under Football Pants?

I’m gonna start playing high school freshman football soon and I want to know what to wear under the pants… Do I just wear a jock then girdle or do I need to go out and buy under armor underwear? Also, does the school supply the girdle? I don’t want to be embarresed…. Thanks.

The school will issue you a girdle. I would suggest going out and getting your own girdle. Freshmen get the worst equipment. I liked the one that look like shorts or boxers actually that you put your cup right into it and then you put your other pads into it then put on your football pants. You dont need the under armour stuff until later in the season it is good when we are talking about playing in october. depending on the position you play ie line men or linebacker i would consider looking at a rib protecter. I never had one until varsity year and damn it sure takes a lot of the sting away when you get hit in and unprotected area.

seeing as how America invented Basketball..then it spread to england..that point has no merit..

the others seem to be on point, except for at first, for decades American football was only running and field goals,, there were no passes or extra points. so it was on par with rugby, they didn’t even wear the pads and helmets like they wear now, the helmets weren’t as good and there were less pads.

JOhn- England doesn’t own America anymore, if that is the case Rome owns England still, since they occupied England before it was a country. secondly, many Europeans and other foreigners come to participate in American Football and Basketball, so therefore they must be more fun than rugby or cricket.
