what dog will suit me ?

im 13yrs old
Play alot of Football – everyday about 8hours jog every day an play for west ham academy
live in a family house with little kids
strong healthy kid, quiet big for my age
im thinking maybe a pitbull or german shephard or a bulldog i want something that can outrun me
i had a japanese akita but it was very lazy an had problems
* my akita had some sort of problem with his legs
im thinking of a pitbull or a german shephard
or something like that^^^^
obviously i need education im full time at the FOOTBALL ACADEMY meaning i go school there i had a trial then they said yes an signed me i am queit busy but im not the only one whos going to be looking after the dog my brothers can help me out ……………………

Okay,
From reading your question,
I do not advise you getting a bulldog, because these dogs aren’t very athletic, (maybe an American Bulldog)
A pitbull, oh I love these big babies!
Not a dog like them, but most people say these are vicious dogs, and they are mean. Not true, it’s all in the breeder. It is very hard to find a breeder who has a very clear background for the dog’s history, even if the grandparents of the puppy, was in dog fights, that will still affect you pitbull. I’m not saying that there isn’t a good breeder, but it is hard to find one. I speak from experience. If you think you can find a responsible pitbull breeder, then sure go ahead and go for one!
But I would also like to cross your mind with another breed (also one of my favorites) a Boxer!
Not sure if you have looked into this breed, but you should. They somewhat have the appearance of a pitbull, just taller.
Boxers on the other hand, you can find a good breeder a lot more easily than a pitbull.
Here is just some quick information of the breed.

Character: The Boxer is happy, friendly, intelligent, attentive, and loyal. Boxers develop strong, close bonds with family. They have lots of energy and a serious demeanor, though they can be clownish and playful as well. They make excellent guardians and companions.

Temperament: The Boxer gets along especially well with children. They also get along well with other dogs and household pets, but may be aggressive towards unknown dogs. (which should not be a problem if you socialize as a puppy… which is a great experience)

Training: The Boxer must be trained not to jump up at people as it is naturally fond of jumping. (Quick learner) The Boxer is ideal for various sporting activities because it can be highly trained and learns very quickly. Boxers may be stubborn in learning, but they are responsive to commands.

Activity: The Boxer needs plenty of physical and mental exercise on a daily basis. They should be allowed to run or go for long walks regularly. Boxers enjoy playing fetch or other activities. They can tolerate apartment life if exercised sufficiently, but a fair-sized yard is ideal. Lonely, inactive Boxers can become stressed out and destructive. (Since you are planned to give your dog a lot of exercise, you should have no problems!

-Hope I helped-
Good luck!

Trousers

chanel women’s bootsTrousers are an item of clothing worn on the lower part of the body from the waist to the ankles, covering both legs separately (rather than with cloth stretching across both as in skirts and dresses). Such items of clothing are often referred to as pants in countries such as Canada, South Africa and the United States. Additional synonyms include slacks or breeches (sometimes pronounced ['br?t??z]. Historically, as for the West, trousers have been the standard lower-body clothing item for males since the 16th century; by the late 20th century, they had become prevalent for females as well. Trousers are worn at the hips or waist, and may be held up by their own fastenings, a belt, or suspenders (braces). Leggings are form-fitting trousers of a clingy material, often knitted cotton and lycra.
Terminology

In North America, pants is the general category term, and trousers refers, often more formally, specifically to tailored garments with a waistband and (typically) belt-loops and a fly-front. For instance, informal elastic-waist knitted garments would never be called trousers in the U.S. Undergarments are called underwear, underpants, or panties (the last are women’s garments specifically) to distinguish them from other pants that are worn on the outside. The term drawers normally refers to undergarments, but in some dialects, may be found as a synonym for reeches, that is, trousers. In these dialects, the term underdrawers is used for undergarments.

In Australia the terms pants and trousers are synonymous.

In most parts of the United Kingdom, trousers is the general category term, and pants refers to underwear. In some parts of Scotland, trousers are known as trews; taken from the early Middle English trouse, its plural developed into trousers.

Various people in the contemporary fashion industry use the word pant instead of pants. This is grammatically incorrect. The word pants is a plurale tantum, always in plural form much like the words scissors and tongs. The origin of pants is due to the use of two pieces of cloth in making it. Pant would actually mean just a single leg being covered with clothing.

Nomadic Eurasian horsemen such as the Iranian Scythians, along with Achaemenid Persians, were among the first to wear trousers.

In ancient China, trousers were only worn by soldiers.

Trousers were introduced into Western European culture at several points in history, but gained their current predominance only in the 16th century, from a Commedia dell’Arte character named Pantalone (Italian word for Trousers).[citation needed] In England in the Twelfth century, the rustic were often seen in long garments to the ankle, rather like trousers, which are really glorified braies. Strangely enough, trouserlike garments, which became rare again in the thirteenth century, vanished during the fourteenth century and scarcely reappeared for six hundred years. [2] The word itself is of Gaelic origin, from the Middle Irish word “triubhas” (close-fitting shorts).

Trousers trace their ancestry to the individual hose worn by men in the 15th century (which is why trousers are plural and not singular). The hose were easy to make and fastened to a doublet at the top with ties called “points”, but as time went by, the two hose were joined, first in the back then across the front, but still leaving a large opening for sanitary functions. Originally, doublets came almost to the knees, effectively covering the private parts, but as fashions changed and doublets became shorter, it became necessary for men to cover their genitals with a codpiece.

By the end of the 16th century, the codpiece had been incorporated into the hose, now usually called breeches, which were roughly knee-length and featured a fly or fall front opening.

chanel tall bootsDuring the French Revolution, the male citizens of France adopted a working-class costume including ankle-length trousers or pantaloons in place of the aristocratic knee-breeches. This style was introduced to England in the early 19th century, possibly by Beau Brummell, and supplanted breeches as fashionable street wear by mid-century. Breeches survived into the 1940s as the plus-fours or knickers worn for active sports and by young school-boys. Types of breeches are still worn today by baseball and Football Players.

Sailors may have played a role in the dissemination of trousers as a fashion around the world. In the 17th and 18th centuries, sailors wore baggy trousers known as galligaskins. Sailors were also the first to wear jeans — trousers made of denim. These became more popular in the late 19th century in the American West, because of their ruggedness and durability.

Fantasy Football Faceoffs

As seen on http://www.ecouchcoach.com -

With Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals just hours away, it seems like the perfect time to write a fantasy football article with a hockey title.

Oh, who am I fooling? Hockey sucks (unless it’s live, then it’s awesome). Hockey is for guys named Sergei and dentists. But, since hockey is better than Nicholas Cage, I’ll let the hockeyites think this is hockey-themed.
Organized Team Activities are heating up, and the fight for carries, pass attempts, receptions—and fantasy points—is on. What battles are the most intriguing? Glad you asked, Couch Cushions. Oh, and despite Mighty Ducks being an awesome movie, no “Oreo Line.”

Scoring line
Mark Sanchez vs. Kellen Clemens

The marquee faceoff of the summer. This one’s like Gretsky facing off against Messier, only if Messier was Messier and Lemieux put together.

Okay, so maybe not quite, but it’s an intriguing battle.

Let’s not fool ourselves: Kellen Clemens is probably bad at sports, and only a little better at throwing footballs. There’s a small sample size issue here—Clemens has only been in the league three years and started a run of games last in 2007—but Clemens has never been surrounded with a ton of hype. The man is 26 and was just referred to in a wire article as “career backup Kellen Clemens.” Not good for a young man. Plus, Clemens threw ten interceptions, was sacked 27 times, and threw only five touchdowns in the eight games he started in 2007. For a second-round quarterback, that might be the only chance he gets.

Mark Sanchez has had similar success in the NFL as Kellen Clemens, which is to say, “none.” Sanchez never really set the world on fire at USC, and hasn’t taken a professional snap not in Jets gym shorts. But—and this is why I think Sanchez will start the season for the Jets—he’s getting paid $28 million dollars guaranteed for the next five years, with $50 million attainable. Just like no one puts Baby in a corner, no one pays Sanchez $28 million to model headsets.

John Madden once said “Brett Favre is Brett Favre.” Is either Sanchez or Clemens worthy of being called “Brett Favre,” just like…um…Brett Favre? No, but there can only be 30 starting quarterbacks in this league, and whoever starts for the Jets has a chance to be ranked in the high 20s for quarterbacks. Jerricho Cotchery and Chansi Stuckey are decent receivers, and there will be plenty of running in new coach Rex Ryan’s game plan.

The pick and prediction: Mark Sanchez, 13 GS, 2,800 yards passing, 16 TD, #23 best fantasy quarterback

Checking line
Joseph Addai vs. Donald Brown

Enough of these quarterback pretty boys. This is hockey Sparta! fantasy football. It’s all about those point-producing “checkers,” running backs.

Addai flew onto the fantasy football scene in his 2006 rookie year, posting a thousand-yard season. Fantasy owners loved his high reception totals (40) and eight touchdowns wasn’t bad for Dominic Rhodes’ platoon mate. Plus, the Colts won the Super Bowl that year, which Drew Brees’ fantasy owners will tell you makes the impact of a piss in the ocean.

2007 was Addai’s banner year, with Kenton “Never trust a man with two first names (to be the second leading rusher)” Keith stealing only 121 mop-time carries. Again, a thou for Addai and an almost doubled touchdown count.

Enter 2008. Injuries. A so-badd-I’m-spelling-it-with-two-ds-BADD running offensive line in the Circle City. Addai gets labeled as a guy who can’t hit the hole fast, and can’t break a tackle in the backfield. Dominic Rhodes steals half of Addai’s carries, Addai’s yardage gets cut in half and Go-Go-Joe runs for only five touchdowns.

And so Bill Polian, that guy who is better than you at drafting, picks up Donald Brown out of Connecticut. Donald Brown is moderately fast (ran 4.51 in the 40). Donald Brown is a moderately good blocker. Donald Brown will probably be a little better than Addai in goalline situations.

Moderately.

Which, in fantasy, means “stay away.”

Joseph Addai has been “da man” for only one season in his post-high school life: 2007. The year after that was his worst as a professional. Addai was never top dog in Baton Rouge, and while a good football player, is probably not a 300-carry back. Donald Brown led the nation in rushing last year, but isn’t flashy in any certain part of the game. So it’s not like the Colts are going to use Addai and Brown in certain situations to maximize their output. This will be a strict job-share.

The pick and prediction: Do you feel lucky? Well, do you, punk? Addai has been held out of practice after a summer knee scope. Brown’s getting the practice reps. Make Addai your 19th overall running back (comparison is Derrick Ward, Marshawn Lynch, Ryan Grant, Kevin Smith) and Donald Brown your 25th overall (Felix Jones, Jamal Lewis, Willie Parker).

I want to get my 10 (TEN) year old brother either a PSP or a Nintendo DS Lite. Which one is better for him?

I heard the Nintendo DS Lite has a lot of good kid games but he also likes playing “mature” games. Then I think the Football Games and stufff are a little boring. Oh and does anyone know what that thing is called so he can go on the internet with the DS??

Thanks!!

i personally like the nintendo ds better its aimed at people that age to and its more immersive but does he have any particular consoles he like like the wii or playstaion 1 2 or 3 because each company has different exsclusive games that he may like but for a 10 year old most likely the nintendo ds would be the best choice.
