As a safety in Football what Extra equipment should I wear?

I know shoulder paads and that stuff is required I mean should I wear rib pads and gloves and stuff if so plzz tell me the gear I should use

Really at safety you want as little extra gear as possible to keep you fast and mobile. Being on defense as well really all you would maybe want would be gloves almost a must have anymore maybe some sort of padded gloves like cutters and a cup at the most. No rib or back pads they just slow you down. If you want a visor it isn’t really gonna keep you an safer and they can actually be a problem with rain and sweat. But some people like them anyway.
