Can you adjust the lenght of Football Pants?

My 8 year old son football pants fits him in the waist good but the length is too long. Is there a way adjust the length maybe with tape? Right now his knee pads looks like shin guard.

Yes you could tape up the legs so that the pad are in the right place.

The other option is to move the pad pocket to where it needs to be on your son.

Then there’s always the cut out the stuff in the place that’s too long for him and sew the legs back on. I’d do this one last.
